the power of play: shakta khalsa on yoga for children

kids-yogaYoga for children is increasing in popularity, as parents and those who work with kids see the positive impact that the practice has on young bodies and minds. Shakta Khalsa, founder of Radiant Child Yoga, has been at the forefront of this movement for 25 years. As a parent, Kundalini yoga teacher and author of children’s book, she has a unique insight into the importance of yoga for kids of all ages.

In this conversation, she tells us about her approach, what happens in a children’s yoga class, and why we could all use a little more play in our lives – especially serious adults who take yoga so seriously!
