i let go: a self-help book you’ll actually want to read

Both self-help books and yoga have a tendency to take themselves a little seriously. Erica J. Schmidt, a yogi and writer who lives on a boat in Halifax, pokes a little fun at both with her quirky self-help e-book, I Let Go. Described as “a self-help book featuring James Altucher, biodegradable poetry, yoga postures, pizza, the Big Black Dog, the Mammoth, the Moon and other Sky Friends,” it defies all the conventions of regular self help books (except for quizzes, which are the best part!).

I Let Go is an endearing and charmingly illustrated instruction non-manual to living a light and spontaneous life. It’s available for only $2 on Amazon – and you don’t even need one of those e-reader things to read it!

Read Erica’s fun take on yoga and life on her blog, Ecstatic Adventures of the Exuberant Bodhisattva.
