giveaway! writing yoga by bruce black (via rodmell press)

Okay, this may come as a surprise, but I’m a bit of  a nerd. Not just a yoganerd, but a regular old glasses-wearing, ink-stained fingers kind of nerd. In the display of ultimate nerdiness, I proudly carry around (and actually write in) notebooks. I even practice yoga with a notebook and pen beside my mat, and have found asana and relaxation to be an amazing gateway to creativity.

In his recent book from Rodmell Press, writer and editor Bruce Black delves into the nexus of yoga, writing and life. Writing Yoga is part memoir and part writing guide, and a reflection on yoga practice as life.

I have three copies of Writing Yoga to give away, kindly provided by beloved IAYB sponsor, Rodmell Press. All you have to do to enter is sign up for the IAYB mailing list in the right sidebar before 5pm EST, Wednesday, September 5. You have two options: the daily blast or the weekly digest. Sign up for the one that’s right for you.

Wait a second – you’ve already subscribed to the IAYB list? Well, first of all, I love you. Second, to enter this giveaway, all you have to do is leave a comment below.

And you might be wondering how I’ll keep track of your subscription? I have spies all over the Internet! But really, Mailchimp does an awesome job of alerting me of new subscribers. On September 5, I’ll randomly pull three names and contact the winners with the happy news.

  1. Sooo, I would LOVE a copy of this book because I have been in a writing slump – just having a hard time carving out that focused space to write lately. Doing a nice job of finding time to read, practice, play with my kitties – but writing has taken a back burner and there are so many wonderful things happening in my life that I would love to capture with words.

    Much love
    Jess
