twerking is actually an ancient yoga move, claims NYC yoga instructorAfter Miley Cyrus’ VMA performance last month, even my mom knows what twerking is now. Recently added to the Oxford Dictionary, twerk is defined as a “dance to popular music in a sexually provocative manner involving thrusting hip movements and a low, squatting stance.”

  1. I cozy up with a warm sweater and a mug of hot cocoa.

  2. I feel like such a granny admitting this, but I love knitting and wearing hats. My goal last winter was to own a library of hats. I didn’t quite make it, but I am getting closer!
I love fall – my favourite season above all others.

  3. With any of the super gorgeous sweaters my mother-in-law has knit for me! They are my go to fall gear!

  4. In autumn, I really can’t cozy up much. It is not very cold Florida, BUT, I am always cold so I love to pretend I am somewhere where the leaves are turning and the air is crisp. I wear light scarves, I drink hot tea, I bring out my fall color throws and blankets and reminisce about autumn in the Smoky Mountains.

  5. I like to cozy up in Autumn simply with some soft, comfy clothes on the couch with a warm blanket and hot bowl of soup with my cats, honey and a good movie 🙂

  6. Chai tea, apple pie and all things pumpkin. And yoga : )

  7. Over-sized sweaters and a big mug of tea!

  8. I cozy up by wearing scarves with every outfit and a cup of tea!

  9. Oh gee, as soon as it cools off, I start on my obsessive soup and stew making! I love pulling out the big soup pot and chopping up scads of root veggies from the Farmers’ Market. I love fall!

  10. I cosy up with hot chocolate, a good book and my favourite soft blanket which I wrap around me!

  11. I celebrate the return of wool socks 🙂

  12. I cozy up with my fuzzy huskies and my warm hoodies. But mostly I get out and enjoy the cooler weather on the trails.
    Opt out

    Thanks 🙂

  13. When it gets chilly we eat chilli!* also popular: hot chocolate, cold chocolate, hot showers, and sitting on a hot water bottle.

*(quote by a 6-year old friend who can’t read yet or complain that I’m using her wit to make up for my lack of the same)

  14. I cozy up with soup and dreamtime hot packs 🙂

  15. I like to cozy up with my dog and drink some hot tea

  16. I like to cozy up with my warm corn bag.

  17. I cozy up to a hot cup of tea with a nice oversized sweater.

  18. I love to find a blanket and wrap it round my neck and over my shoulders like a giant scarf! Never fails to keep me warm. And leg warmers are a must too!

  19. I cozy up with fun knit hats, long socks and boots with skirts while outside (LOVE TO BE OUTSIDE in the fall). If inside, I snuggle up on the couch underneath a handmade afghan and feel the warmth of the family members that made it for me. Hot tea is a must for both settings.

  20. I cozy up next to a fire

  21. I like to cozy up with my two dogs and a really good book. I also get really into making tea and baking. I am working on a chocolate chip spice bread recipe right now, yum. I have a whole pile of books for fall reading, I can’t wait!

  22. I cozy up in fall with slower yoga practice at home and with sweet treats such as pumpkin pie 🙂

  23. I cozy up with my Starry Night socks, a good book, and a cup of coffee or peppermint tea.

  24. Snuggling by the fire with a favorite blanket or warm child!

  25. A warm sweater, wool socks, and a big mug of tea! Warming comfort foods (like kitchari) are always essential too.

  26. Living in a big city way up north in scandinavia, autum is a truly remarkable time. All though I am cold blooded (if there is such a phrase) and perpetually freezing, even in the summertime, i love going out doors – be it a park, to the beach, or hiking in the forest or mountains. Cuddling up in warm sweaters, big scarfs and woolen socks, getting my bloodflow going and being in touch with the seasonal nature is very comforting. After a long walk I cozy up under a tree, or on a bench with a view. Breathing in the crisp autum air reminds me that it’s time for warmer and more comforting food. It gets me in touch with the seasonal characher of my being, and reminds me that I am also allowed to change, transform and perhaps be more intospective rather that focused on the social – as the season turns toward winter.

  27. I go for hot yoga in the morning or after work. The best feeling is being in a toasty studio when you know it’s chilly outside. Afterwards, I throw on a scarf and in-your-face-boots, go to the farm to pick apples and pumpkins which are then used for pies and cakes for later. Make chai at home and snuggle up with my pugs who keep me warm while reading a book with said apple cake or pumpkin pie baking in the oven.

  28. I cozy up with my hubby under the blanket his grandma made for his family and watch an episode of one of our favorite shows.

  29. I love to cozy up with home made pumpkin bisque, my favorite hat or hooded sweatshirt and my warmest cozy flowy yoga pants. Yay for Fall! Just having moved back to my hometown after living in Southern California, I am elated about experiencing true Autumn again. I missed the smell, the crisp air, and the beautiful leaves!!

  30. I love fall! I like to make an apple crisp to enjoy while still hot with a glass of cold milk. I also like to take a nap with a warm blanket. The best is when I can do both in the same afternoon. It happens.

  31. Yoga in a yurt, woolly legwarmers from Salt Spring Island, and a hot London Fog with steam that escapes into autumn air. Oh, I do love me some autumn.

  32. When Autumn comes around & the weather turns crisp, I love to cozy up in chunky knitwear, sipping a hot cuppa, and – more often than not! – snuggling up to a hot water bottle!

  33. When autumn comes around, I cozy up drinking a nice cup of hot chocolate, reading books, practicing restorative yoga with tons of blankets. I also cozy up with pillows, blankets and watch Korean movies!

  34. I cozy up with a cup of chai tea and fuzzy socks 🙂

  35. I cozy up with a big sweater, wool socks, my yoga pants, a cup of coffee, a good book, and a fire in the fireplace. Of course, said fireplace has a mantle full of autumn leaf decorations, pumpkins, and lit autumn candles. Serious relaxation time!

  36. Potato soup, my favorite sweater, my cat curled up in my lap 🙂

  37. A comfy sweater, hot caramel apple cider and cuddling with my love.

  38. Cozy autumn = apple spice herbal tea, chunky knit socks, fuzzy blankets, lots of candles and my two orange kitty cats

  39. A warm bath and then coat myself in body oil. Flannel PJ’s, with cozy socks. A nice cup of tea, snuggled on the couch with my puppy and a nice book.

  40. By my fireplace with warm spiced coconut milk and my honey

  41. With a book and a blanket!

  42. I wear a light scarf. It’s perfect for keeping healthy with a chill in the air.

  43. Lots of pumpkin spice lattes and cozy scarves!

  44. Scarves and layered outfits, often with oversized sweaters and velvet or suede loafers. Big fan of velvet loafers.
